Below is an English & Afrikaans interview on eNews with residents in Craighall Park opposing a cellphone mast which was erected by Atlas Towers at the Old Apostolic Church. One resident drew attention to the humming of the power supply a mere 15m from her bedroom window.

According to the residents’ legal counsel, a building application (such as a mast) must be rejected.

1) if the erection of a building will probably or in fact be unsightly or objectionable

2) if the building will probably or in fact be detrimental to human health

3) if there’s a chance that an adjoining property value will be diminished as a result of the building
