The EMRSA website was created in 2007 by concerned Constantia residents in Cape Town (South Africa) and over time this site has grown, serving to:

  • provide a voice for the community’s objection to masts in the Strawberry Lane area (where no suitable mast location exists) when other channels of communication were blocked
  • substantiate concerns around mast placements in this area, as well as other residential and sensitive areas
  • create a central repository of information received from this community and others throughout Cape Town, South Africa and abroad (media articles, scientific research, multimedia…)
  • aid education around the responsible use of wireless technology through acknowledgement of the problem

We currently have MTN through lLanga Technogies making a application for a 25 meter cellular tower at 97 Chelsea Drive, Durban North. The closing date for objections is 15 February 2016. With your permission, we would like to put a link on our website leading people to your emrsa website ? Could you please give us any advice on the objection process. There are childrens bedroom’s less then 40 meters away from this tower. Please help.

      Hi
Can you be so kind as to advise where “objection Forms” can be obtained?
Concerned residents of Grotto Bay are being given the run around by Municipality, GBHOA and WPP.

      Many thanks
